hey guys, i dyno'ed my WRX with the most current setup tonight

old setup

UTEC
FMIC
short ram intake
water injection
1 step colder plugs
up pipe
turbo back exhaust
walbro 255

245whp 240wtq
91 octane 100% water injection

current setup

AEM EMS
FMIC
vf39 turbo(stock sti turbo)
840CC injectors
walbro 255
1 step colder NGK iridiums
header
up pipe
turbo back exhaust
water injection
short ram intake
sti 6spd

91 octane with 100% water injection

301whp and 286wtq

my car is dead even with my friend's evo 9 that has manfiold, o2 housing, turboback exhaust, intercooler and lower intercooler pipe k&n filter and a reflash(cars with similar setups regularly run low 12 second 1/4 miles)

in my garage right now is a 2.5l STI engine. hopefully by january the build will be complete

its gonna be a mosnter, fully built 2.5l with ported heads, cams, springs valves, EVERYTHING, and a GT35R turbo

im shooting for a reliable, no sweat 450whp on 91 octane, and atleast 550-600whp on race gas. expect me to post a 10 second time slip in the next six months wink.gif

sweet! my friend is runing a vf39 on his 04 sedan too. He has fmic, injectors, long ram intake and refash ecu i think. the thing is freakin fast, he ran mid to high 13's i think. I guess that's not fast enough though, he too is looking into swaping in a sti motor. Its funny to me how that works, fast is never fast enough i guess tongue.gif
