I just got a good deal on ebay

I dont need a controller since I am going to go with datalogit, and I am planning on getting wideband o2 for it. Maybe boost control kit for PFC but I heard that the solenoid is not that great.

Im just bragging because im excited biggrin.gif any suggestions on what wideband O2 should I get ?

Very cool. Time for some injectors and a bigger turbo. I recommend a GT3076R with the smallest A/R available.

i believe aem, and innovative???


where are you picking up datalogit?
i can't seem to find it at all, and when i did find it, it was more than the power fc itself., . ,

Im thinking GT3071R, I want to see myself somewhere between 340-380 whp with decent spool and decent ammount of tq down low... would you recommend 76r over 71r for my goals? I didn't compare maps yet so i feel uneducated smile.gif as far as injectors would 650 or 680 got me there safely ? i think they should confused.gif

These GT turbos are bit expensive tho...

Since they are about the same price, I would just go for 850's. There is no disadvantage with idle that there used to be 5-10 years ago.

As for the turbo, there are a number of very good threads on this issue on mr2oc.com. The problem with Garrett's version of the 3071 is that the housing that comes with that turbo is a restriction. I think ATP has a T3 version that is better but I like genuine garrett stuff so I say 3076!

I've read that alot of people claim that datalogit software is very user friendly in terms of functionality and clear data display, so I bet it would be a good choice for the first-time tuner.

This book is a pretty decent read if your interested in tuning. Helps understand a lot of basics...

Good call, got me occupied on mr2oc for a few hours smile.gif and I'm starting to lean toward ATP version...

I was considering t3t4 of various trims because of their price, but water jacket and bearing upgrade would put me in the same price range.... it will probably be another 6 months untill i decide which turbo i want. kindasad.gif

lol, i've had that book for a few years...
picked up on how sensors work, used the ems troubleshooting to determine a few problems.
read about the twin charged duece, and some other cars...

haven't quite read the important tuning part...

I figure it goes something like this:
AFR...aim for This w/ NA, this w/ turbo.
Rich > lean, so start rich, and work your way down.
if daily driven, stay above mentioned AFRs above.
monitor w/ wideband, recommended dyno tuning. . .lol

i'll actually read it when the time gets closer.
you doing yours soon?
