To tell you the truth I am not 100 % sure its a 92 motor, but it has oil nozzles so i think it is a 3rd gen but not 100%. Are you sure of those sizes, how can i tell if it is a 2.3rd gen?

If you look at the side of the turbo. If it says TOYOTA like in the next picture, you will have a CT20B turbo which mains you have a 3rd gen. If it says CT-26 on the side its a 2nd gen.

BTW 2nd gen is from 90-94 Everything beyond 94 is 3rd gen.

a 92 is a 2nd gen 3sgte. you have a ct26 turbo with 440cc injectors. they are good for around 275hp at the wheels.

Off topic but that is not true.
There are CT26 turbos with only "Toyota" word casted on the compressor housing.
The only way to tell whether or not the turbo is CT20B is to count the hole/stud on the exhaust outlet flange and check the casted number on the exhaust inlet flange.

Not applicable to USDM 3sgte from 94-94 MR2 Turbo.
They are 2nd generation.

The easiest way to tell is to check where the oil filter is.
On the 2nd gen engine, oil filter is on the side of the block, exhaust side.
On the 3rd gen engine, oil filter is at the bottom.
The intake manifolds are also different.
Gen 3 has no TVIS.
The timing belt cover of 2nd generation is gray, the 3rd generation cover is black.
The exhaust manifold bolt patterns are also different.

The injectors are also different.
2nd gen injector is 440 cc/min and has black top.
3rd gen injector is 540/min and has dark pink top and has "4" holes
