I ordered a TRD quickshifter and im getting ready to take out the old shifter. but i dont have the right socket to unscrew the shifter. so what size socket fits?

A metric size. So either 10/12/14mm would do the trick.

looks like a 14mm, but hard to tell from the pic, just remember our cars use metric so 10,12,14, etc is your best bet

from memory its the same size as the socket used to remove the two blots in the armrest, which again from memory is a 14mm socket.
