Colorado MEET, Update/ May 10-13/ Options

Alright last year was fun. But there wern't enough people that went. I wanna go up around the same time last year. JUNE. Lets see how many people we can get rounded up. Last year while i was in Colorado i figured if we do it again this year everything would be planned out better. We will drive up and stay for atleast 3 days, one day we will jetski in the mountains, the next day we will drive up in the rocky mountain national park. And drive through estes park. Here are a few pics of last year lets get this started.




I hope we can get a better turn out this year then last year.

I just PM'd a ton of people that live in Colorado, Iowa, Nebraska, And Kansas. Hopefully we can get some of them to take the cruise with us to Colorado and meet up with everyone else in Colorado. Its great fun Jetskiing on the lake in the mountains is very fun.

Alright lets change it to April. That way Jon can go. Jon, Hitcachi, and everyone thats around Nebraska, Iowa, and Kansas will all drive up together. April's still pretty far away but come on guys lets make this actually work. last year didn't turn out to well, all them people said they were down and then backed out. Which would you guys prefer? March or April? Whenever we have it. It will be a 3 1/2 day ordeal. Leave on thursday night drive half way. Then friday drive the rest and have a meet. Then saterday have the whole day to go to estes park, and then leave sunday. Please post and let me know which you guys would prefer March or April.

Well thats the thing. I want to get a date set up where everyone will be able to make it? I can go any month of the year. So me it doesn't matter. Would you guys be able to make it up there if it was Early May? Like May 10th to 13th? let me know guys.

The one we stayed in last time was a cheep hotel i think it was like $150 for the two nights. So if you want to stay cheep thats a perfect hotel right off the interstate. This year is going to be set up a lot better. To bad we couldn't get other people from farther away to show up. But o-well.

YES!! Come on guys it would be awsome if you get to go. More people the better. More then likely friday have a meet up at CelicaST(nate) house and rent some jetski's that way we can go jet skiing then friday night cruise fort collins. (alot of fun) Then saterday cruise estes and hang out there for the day then that night cruise fort collins again. then sunday will be the drive home lol. This is the 10-13 of May hopefully snow wont be a problem by then.

Are you sure you can't find a way to make it them dates? The only reason is, because CelicaST needs to be there since he lives there lol. But here is the dates we are going, and the plans for that date.

May 10, (Thursday) <-(drive half way that night to a hotel.) don't know which hotel yet.

May 11, (Friday) <-(Drive the rest of way up and meet up with CelicaST at his house and go jetski on BoyD lake. Then cruise Fort Collins at night)

May 12, (saterday) <-(all cruise into estes park and into the mountains. Then cruise estes that night and Fort Collins.)

May 13, (sunday) <-(take the cruise back home.)

CelicaST Make sure them dates work for you. And hope everyone else can make this. There will be more updates of the hotels for everyone to stay at. And hopefully celicaST can get his local people that are not on the boards to come to this meet.

Ok guys. I think these dates will work out fine. It just sucks that we can't get a date where everyone can go. But i guess next time. Everyone just make sure that they get them days off. And CelicaST if you have anything that can help us out let me know. I'm gonna start looking into hotels so the people that are driving from far away can get rooms before they fill up.

If anyone has a different date that they think it should be on let me know. Because i know that if its after May 28 Jonmarkos can't go and if it's before may 28 Alani can't go. So i honestly don't know what to do.

Ok well it will be May 10th-13. The 11th will be the first meet day at Nate's house. Them are the set dates and the people that need hotels let me know i'll get you the number of the hotel that i think would be the best to stay at (cheap wise)

I hope we can get a few more celica's to join us this year. We had 5 last year so lets hope to get more. I got a couple other people that will be driving up with me. My brother will be driving up with his RSX-S and one of my best friends will be coming with his 350z. So if anyone thats going to the meet wants to bring some friends that have their rides thats fine thats what went down last year.

Ok the date is set. May 10-13. the people that are cruising up with me, we are going to leave may 10th in the afternoon and drive the whole way to CO then staying the night at the hotel and waking up for the meet may 11th. I will be posting the hotel information for those who are wanting to go and stay with us shortly.

Sweet another 6gc . Everyone will more than likely just meet up in Fort Collins and then go to the lake. Once the date gets a little closer i will be PMing the people that are going and getting cell phone numbers. I still have CelicaST's but i'll be needing others because if they were not at the meet last year they don't know where to go. If CelicaST gets on here he will post a pic of instruction also hopefully and help you guys out a little bit more. I can't wait to get this meet started.

Well this week I will be calling the hotel and getting my room, brothers room and my friends room at the hotel. After i call them up and get the rooms i will be posting up the cost, and where the hotel is located along with the number. So i'll keep everything updated.

Well the day is coming. And i hope the people that all live in Colorado make it out to Fort Collins. My brother and friend are not making it. But i'm still goin up. The hotel i'll be at is in Estes park. But all the people that are going can meet me in Fort Collins friday or saterday it's up to what days you guys can come up to cruise and take pics. Ok, so are we going to only have one actuall cruise on saturday? I'm thinkin let everyone get here thursday, meet up on friday, cruise saturday, and everyone goes home sunday. Up on the southwest end of Fort Collins there is horsetooth reservoir. There's a pretty SWEET parking area right above the water that's awesome for a photo shoot and it's the Pineridge Natural Area. Those would be the two places I would pick to meet up in FoCo because those have the most available parking.

My girl is trying to screw me into going to her freaken cousins graduation. I'm still going to the cruise cause I don't care about her stupid cousin. Plus I never told her I was going to that. So I'll be there damn it.

To anyone who's going to be at the meet. I will not have my 6gc there. I'll have my 7th gen. Main reasons being that last night I ran into some starting issues that I haven't quite nailed down yet. The other being that it's about to undergo a Head Gasket replacement. I'll be push starting it and driving it up to my buddy's place in Fort Collins to start tearing things down on thursday. I've got a few other things I'll be doing to 'er too. If ANYONE wants to help, PM me, I'll shoot you my phone number and you can call me for directions to his place. I'm still down for the cruise and everything, I'll just be doing it in the 7th gen instead of the 6. Anyways, any extra hands would be greatly appreciated and will be paid in pizza and possibly beer.
