i have for sale a JDM 3rd gen 3SGTE engine and tranny. i dont have the full engine harness i also dont have the ecu and im not sure if the car comes with a MAF but i dont have that either. im looking for the best offer. if you need any pics i can email them with the provided address.

sorry about the big pic its the only way i knew how to post it. and no its a 3rd gen st205 engine. the 2nd gen has an air to air intercooler.

Yep. THIRD GEN 3SGTE = LIQUID COOLED. Are you sure it's a third gen?

im almost positive. i got this motor for free so i really dont know the specs on it. but buy the way it looks it the reall deal. its got water lines comeing out of the intercooler.

I'm no expert with the 3S becuz they all look alike to me and I can only tell the difference by the intercoolers and MAFs.

But isn't this the 3rd Gen?

im sure its a 2nd gen RC oil filter is on the front and the IC is 2tone, either eay it would be a great engine

it might be a 2nd gen i really dont know. either way im selling it. if someone wants it make an offer. i really dont know if it makes any difference but the intercooler had an castrol sticker on it. but i pulled it off becouse i thought the original owner put it on there.

Of course its a ST185 RC/CS engine.

3rd gen comes with a unpainted/coated heatshield with sleeves in it.
3rd gen has a complete black Water-Air intercooler with 2000 TWIN ENTRY TURBO written on it, with the addition of the Toyota logo.

And of course the addition of a recircular BOV.

it comes with the engine tranny and everything on the engine. you would probably need a ecu and wireing harness. also if your trying to make a gt-four you would need the differential, driveshaft, and the rear drive axels. i would like to get arround $1000 for it.

For the last time it's an RC or CS 2nd gen engine. You're going to need an AFM, ECU, Coil, Ignitor, fuel pump resistor, and injector resistor pack.

The ECU, Coil, and ignitor will need to be from a 92-93 celica alltrac in order to work on that engine.

The AFM plug is also different on the RC/CS wiring harness and you'd nee an RC ECU and AFM to make that work... very hard to find by the way. Otherwise you'll need to cut off the RC/CS AFM plug and splice in a regular plug to work with a non RC/CS ECU and AFM combo.

You're also going to need a heat exchanger, pump and water lines to make that W2A intercooler work.

IMO this engine is worth about $500 considering everything that's missing.

EDIT: just noticed the wiring harness isn't complete, that makes it worth about $400.
