 plastic lining in doors, removal? |

so that plastic lining inside the doors rattles when the speakers put out bass. Is it ok to remove it? or would i need to replace it with something else to serve whatever function it preforms?

the plastic lining is there as a draft sealer and heeps the doors a little more insulated.
