As most probally know, Toyota released the new Tundra.

Thoughts and opinions?

Toyota's Official Site:
http://www.toyota.com/tundra/index.html?s_...TN_TUNDRA_INDEX

Tundra videos: (7 minutes that show alot of what it can do [grant it there all comercials for the most part, still interesting to see])

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zi79PK73yjk

My personal standpoint:

Looks appealing, and after messing around the toyotas website, and looking at specs and hauling. If I SERIOUSLY needed a work truck, this is what I would get. Just for the shear towing and hauling capacity. 1 ton in the rear of a 1/2ton pickup...then it has the fastest acceration, and the shortest stoping distance on top of it all....just WOW.

Grant it is starting at 22k and to get a fully decked out your looking at about 45k...but that seems to be the going rate for a fullsize (1/2ton) pickup

REad a review today... they said it was like a trunk that drove like a car. The only problem they had was spongy brakes and a larger than expected turning radius

Lots of good stuff. I am not a fan of the
front end, I like the older tundras and tacomas
looks better than the new ones.

I effing love it, but 45k is alot for a truck, and if you get the base model it of course does not have the beefy 5.7 liter

I didn't think I liked the front end at first, but when I saw it in person I changed my mind. I drove it around on their little off-road course at the st louis auto show... it was pimp. Seems to have alot more space than my f-150 and seems really solid(yes I know it's brand new)

I always felt the previous versions of the tundra were alot smaller than the silverado or f-150, but now it seems beefier
