Hi all...
I just sold my 1.8 6GC  It was like a heartbreak, I really love this car !But now I am going to buy an ST205  This model is quite rare in Europe, I am looking through Italy and Germany for the moment. I spotted one that seems ok and I may go check it next week. I was am going to bring a boost gauge with me to check the current boost pressure but I could find the following information : what is the "stock" boost pressure ? Thanks

11.9 - 16.7 psi
But you normally see ~13-14 psi. -------------------- _Gary

around 0.95 bar

Stock Boost is 0.9 bar or 13.2PSI

Thank you for this pic Gary, very usefull
As for "boosting up", what is the maxi pressure recommended to keep the engine safe ? The value I read the most often is around 1.3 bar (19 psi). -------------------- |

1.2bar is your "safe" limit...beyond that with a standard ECU and you`ll hit fuel cut.
