i've always wanted that lip... damn.. only thing stopping me is the high shipping price (but then again you get it very fast) and the fact that i won't be able to drive in the winter with the lip on. and the body kit combo you're going with has been my all-time favorite.

OOOOH Parada Spec 2 tires! You are gonna love the way they grip on the twisties! Good on launch too. Love the red rims. Gonna paint the car red too? I'd go black for the contrast but should look amazing either way.

its a little of both, offset and lip size... i had to role the rear fenders to make the wheels fit... thay should clear by 2mm!!!

yeah, am currently working on my GT to fit some 9.5", maybe 10" rims rite now (not to sure yet)

i've been lookin at Axis wheels and their Maxxis tech is pretty cool...expands lip size, gives a rwd look, without sacrificing the dimensions of the rim to much.

if yours are 18", i assume they're 18x8 all around with the Maxxis tech in the rears, correct?

and where did you have to roll? the front or the rear fenders?

i think i'll have to do some major stretching to fit the 9.5-10" rims but the end result is worth it for me

Beautiful rims! Are they staggered? In the second picture it looks like they are. You're car is going to look great!

You are correct... the wheels are not staggered sized, just staggered offset, it gives the celica a look of a RWD car... I made a template to find the max offset and mesured it down to 2mm cleareance for that "perfect flush look"...

I like those wheels. Bold choice. Watch those rotors for breaking, I'm too chicken to buy drilled rotors. I would like to see the radio system left out, those things are too heavy. That quarter isn't ready for filler yet, I still see rust. It'll come back quick if you don't completely get rid of it. Good luck with your project.

No that's the big nationwide Supra rally held in Tx every year. Supra's come from all over North America [a friend of mine brings his from western NY] for this. You guys should check it out next year.
The schedule is usually:
Fri - Dyno day in Houston
Sat - Track day and track tuning in Seally [the part I happened into this year quite by accident]
Sun - Show and shine or something in San Antonio
I even saw two MKI Celica/Supra's this year.

make sure you have a drill for the braided lines, the bracket doesnt fit with the 12mm bolt part of the strut, i had to use a 8mm bolt instead.

today i found out that i am not geting my seats be cause the supplyer has not made a shipment in 3 months!!! mad.gif so i got my money back, did some research and bought these instead... (Matrix Type-X Modena Alcantara Racing Seats) from my research i am hearing that thay are good seats and have a long life with little or no issues, just not a top brand co. like sparco or recaro. i like them because thay are alcantara and have a fair price tage most seats that are made with alcantara COST $$$$!!! has any one had any personal experance with them??? if so please post...

if you are asking your self "why???" its because i am going with a red alcantara (suede) interior, ie. doors, front & rear seats, steering wheel ect ect...

ooohhh!!! i know what you are sayin !!! your talkin about how most D1 drift cars run the wheels a little to wide and tires a little to narrow so the wheel rides the fender lip!!! it almost looks as tho its rubin but its not!!! lots of vip cars are also goin for the same look... well, i dont think its goin to look quite llike that but it will be verrrry close... my boyfriend saids "i have a camber kit on the car and when its "dialed-in" the wheels will be with in 2mm of the fenders..."

i was gonna ask you if you were gonna run any negative chamber or what not, but im deff excited to see how the car will turn out. And for that "narrow" look i stretched 235 on the rear of my 240, when in fact they should be 255....although i need to are adjust my whole suspension now and get an alignment so nothing is absolutely rubbing....once your car is done, post pics of it on HELLAFLUSh...im serious when i saythis might be the first flush 6gc

hey your rotors are on backwards, the slot should be / not \

Actually, if the rotor has internal curved vanes, the slots need to be cut accross the vane.
Otherwise, it will crack through the unsupported slot.
The rotor must be mounted according to the internal vanes in order to get rid of heat as fast as possible.
Hence, if the rotors she is using has internal curved vanes and they are slotted properly, that is already the correct way.

you are right!!! the curved vanes are there to move hot air from the center of the hub/rotors outward...
