This is the HID kit my friends and i bought from this group buy. The kits look really clean and had that "new smell" to it smile.gif so after some beers and sht talk...we got down to work. here are the pics....

Here is a pic of the kit in the box

What sucks is....the right light was giving alot of trouble...it would not come on at all. so we swapped it with the left light and everything came on fine. next we did the ballace. the right ballace turned out to be bad...so i'll have to send it back. lucky for me....i ordered 3 kits for my friends and myself...so my friend was nice enough to let me use his ballace untill i get mine replaced from the company.

heres a pic with the HIDs installed, this is next to my friends 99 GS with factory HIDs....muuuuch brighter in the celica....

heres some more with my friends 5th gen and myself.

heres an add on, advice for ppl who didnt relocate their battery.. install the pass side first cuz its a lil tight on the drivers side

before/after on friends car (silverstar's vs 8k)

this is what we are changing, the red dotted piece is the stock bulb, purple is the stock harness

IPB Image
unplug harness

IPB Image
twist bulb counterclockwise to unlock it or whatever

IPB Image
remove bulb...

IPB Image
carefully insert new bulb in, dont force, dont scrape, & dotn touch/get any oilyness on the bulb as it will kill the bulb

IPB Image
carefully push bulb into slots & turn clockwise to secure

IPB Image
these are all the connections you have to make, one to the ballast, 2 of the lil plugs coming from the plug, one to the stock harness, for my kit this connection was the hardest, didnt wanan plug in

IPB Image
these 2 are for aiming the headlight, bottom one is up/down, top one is for left/right - drive on a back country road somewhere that has lines, you want the center of the pass beam to be on the white line, and the left edge of the drivers beam to be on the yellow line, aim the drivers one a little lower than the pass side, and aim the pass side a lil higher, best way to do so, a 5/16th socket will fit & work, didnt try metric, just drive around & aim till you are happy, then drive for a while n make sure noone is highbeaming you and enjoy laugh.gif
