Im thinking about getting a new muffler and get 2.5 inch piping because my muffler i have now sounds like nothing, and i asked around and i have been told that even if i get bigger piping that it wont make any louder of a sound because of the filters in the exhaust?!? i dunno so doers anyone have the N1 exhaust on their 6th gen and if yes how does it sound, any feel of more power?

i wouldn't expect much power from an exhaust
but i have the APEXi N1 with custom 2.25 piping
2.5and up is usually for turbo cars with more air flow.

anyway, i've heard it sounds real good, and from the inside i thought it sounded ricy, but everyone has just said how good it sounds...
as for a performance gain, pssh...i can't tell in this practically stock 16sec. auto-car.

i got it on my ride ... performance wise not that big of a gain
im running it with the stock size piping with no cats or resinator and it sounds pretty nice
below 3000 rpm range its kinda low and quite once i hit past 3g range you can hear it for about a block away

I've got the Mozart dragger muffler. It sounds Really great. It's one of those duel cannister mufflers. I love it.
