Hey everyone,

Ive been a member here for almost a year now and I how big plans for the celica. I'm starting off slow. This summer I plan to lower it on teins with kyb struts, add some spacers. What do you guys (and girls) think should be my next step? I'll probably have another $500 - $1000 to throw in the celica over the summer. C-one front/sideskirts/rear extensions? Intake/exhaust? Projectors? Black paintjob? Also, I would like to see what my car would look with the drop on teins so I nees some photoshop help. My profile suggestions/comments are real lonely right about now so feel free to leave some love with anything you have to say. I NEED SUGGESTIONS AND OPINIONS.

I'd go with the projectors. Thats a pretty nice use with the money. I'd wait to do any body work until you've decided if you're going to keep it that color, or repaint. Nothing sucks worse that having to paint parts multiple times.

wingless, c-one, or enven convert to curren front end ( prob break the bank with that), "jdm" style exhaust, keep the wheels, ditch the lil pinstripe....you're off to a good start because you can do a few things for free or close to it and it will make a pretty big difference

If I got a body kit, it would be the 404 type or Euro style ( lip and side skirts) with rear extensions or c-one front bumber with gt-4 hood. Opinions?

projectors are nice but not worth the money in my opinion. if your going for a clean look, stay away from body kits. i hate most body kits, especially the invader. some lip kits look nice though like the 404. i would drop it and go with a clean oem look, be it either ss3 or gt four. the c-one front is a little to busy for my tastes. my personal favorite is gt four conversion with euro front lip.

sounds like your interested in just the exterior, so here what i would do if i had your car in this order

-ditch the wing in favor of wing west like jgreening has
IPB Image
-drop it and possibly spacers in the rear
-remove pinstrip (a huge pain in the ass by the way)
-gt four front end
-paint the car to somethine more sporty. black, red, and silver are my favorite

basically, make your car look like this wink.gif

all that said, best thing to do is save your money

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

Lot of people suggestion that I go wingless, but I'm a fan of wings so that isn't an option for me. However I would like to change the wing. What are the options for coupe wings? I wanna go for the gt4 look.

Like Coomer's? I think I want to go for something more subtle than that.

As for the pinstripe, the celica is the body shop (some lady backed into my passenger side door) and when I called the body shop today to tell them to leave the pinstipe off they said it was too late. The pinstripe is painted on though so I don't understand how goo gone or those products would be able to remove the stripe without being too abrasive to ruin the paint. Can anybody explain how I can remove the pinstripe without hurting the paint...I wouldnt want to make more off a project for myself by ruining the paint.

More subtle? Have you seen your spoiler? laugh.gif

I would suggest the TRD spoiler, or the WingsWest one. The WW spoiler is very subtle. Very nice.

I do like this look, however I'm not a fan of hanging license plates. I think it has a cheap look to it.

Reminds me of a camaro or firebird... something along the lines of those...
