There isn't anything really vehicle specific, but if you count all the universal parts in here then it is fine.

Dude! I totally checked out the site Top Shop Headliners that is featured in that magazine. They sell C/F headliners and A-pillars among other things! Unfortunately, only for the 7th gen. I emailed the dude, and he said he couldn't see making any parts for the 6th gen any time soon if at all. Other than that, if you've got a B16-B18 or an SR20 that book is good for reference, otherwise, pretty pictures!

you guys always seem to miss the fact that nothing is marketable to the 6gc community, there isn't enough of us to warrant mass production for most things. That's why aftermarket is almost non existant.

i disagree. i think if they made more after market parts it would sell.. if only one company did make more after marker stuff.. think they would have a monopoly on 6g's and thus make much more money.. if only i was older and had some money to put out!

uhhgg, why do you think there is more aftermarket parts for the honda civic?

a **** load more people own them

other cars have more aftermarket performance and more tuners are willing to work with them. The celica is not one of these vehicles, even though you can swap a very potent engine into it, it doesn't come stock with the vehicle, thus decreasing the marketability of the vehicle.

the celica was not sold in astronomic numbers and it puts up ****ty performance numbers in the states(yes I know about the 205)

It took me a long time as a nOOb to realize why this car didn't have any aftermarket support.

I don't care if you disagree with the facts, go ahead.

you don't have to be a dick about it..

maybe you should go take a bussiness class..

where there is no markert if you can start one you'll make money!

some of the reason people don't buy the car is the lack of aftermarket if somone could produce decent aftermarkert parts they would make a killing on the celica. i'm not talking about performince btw.. i'm talking about tail lights, projectors, body kits etc.. hell theres only one after markert tail for the celica coupe, and thats the JDM's which look almost exact to that of the one already on it! So if a company could make some they would make money! and body kits are limited for the coupes also.. i've heard of a lot of kits that fit on hatch's great, but need modding when a tried on a coupe..

believe if one company could come out with some good aftermarket stuff they would make money.

A company will only make money out of their products that people will buy. Pricing for products would be high for our cars. That is because there is a small community compared to the other vehicles they highly support. To them.. making money with the huge group of civic owners is better than making money off the celica community.

Sure if a company started making products for our cars it would sell and make profit. But would it balance the R&D?

I just got in to an MBA program!!!! lol, you can't create a market out of nothing and you can't ignore production costs.

if I make some altezza tails for the honda civic, I have to invest alot of capital to see a return on my investment. Since the CIvic is such a popular car, the market is huge and I will make my initial investment back.

If I make altezzas for 6gc, I have sell a certain number to break even and there isn't enough in the community. Sometimes you have to make your product more expensive just in order to break even and we've seen this happen in certain group buys.

I've watched this happen for the last 5 years, and I understand the economics of it, I promise.
