Hey,
Im looking into getting a new exhaust for my 3sgte celica. Any suggestions on size or brand of muffler? Im looking for cost effective. Im wanting to take it to a local muffler shop and have them weld it up for me. It doesnt have to be extreamly loud or anything. Just want my turbo to breath. Thanks

3" if you can. you can not go too big with a turbo.

magnaflow has a bunch of great sounding mufflers for under $100.

100% agree with mike..
3" is the way to go, and magnaflow makes great mufflers for the $$.
muffler choice is more a matter of what look and sound you want tho.
i know art (lagos) has a couple vids around of his magnaflow,
and theres some clips of jeff (defgeph) and his HKS carbon TI
if you want louder, a round can is more what you'll want.
the oval, more stock shaped ones will tend to be quieter.

This is a crazy idea, but Im thinking about running an open 3"pipe from the Dump pipe all the way back. The turbo should quiet it down some rather than a N/A open pipe. If I dont like it I can always get a muffler added. What do you guys think? biggrin.gif
