FS: FEELER: 98 GT 3SWAP Options

at this point, im posting this up as a feeler. there is a possibility that i might be forced to sell my car within the next 3-4 months. my family is planning a big move and i it would be a lot of trouble to try to ship my car, re-register it, and not even have a garage to keep in it, in another state. i know most of you will probably try to tell me to keep the car, and trust me, i really want to. but after thinking my situation over, i think its best to sell it.

here is what you get:

1998 Celica GT with 74,000 miles - i think im the 3rd owner on the car
Clean Carfax record
247hp and 270tq at the wheels.
the interior is as close to "like new" as ive ever seen on any celica. all black leather thats in excellent shape. the car has never been smoked in.

thanks guys. trust me, it hurts me to let it go. ive owned this car for 5yrs, and put a lot of love and care into it. its my pride and joy (as sad as that might be ..lol ) . but ive carefully considered all my options, and i just cant afford to ship the car or drive it out there.

glad you like it. as it stands right now, im probably going to be ready to officially sell the car in the next 3-4months, thats why this is just a "feeler" to give people some advance notice. so this would give you, and anyone else interested in the car, enough time to make a final decision and it would be right at the time frame that you were thinking of.

Shipping isn't as bad as you may think. My friend shipped his 4-Runner from Hawaii for like 700 bucks... it's not that bad. Keep her Lagos... you will regret selling her. Trust me on that one. =)

I say keep the car in Philly area! - Oh that's right I'm one of those interested in buying it.

it's new home could be in Glenmoore, PA and it's daily ride would be 80 mile roundtrip on the PA turnpike - it's just like your dog going to a new family with a huge yard to run in

oh trust me, i came VERY close to selling it.

as far as cali emissions goes... i talked to chan who pretty much told me that im moving to the car capitol of the world with all kinds of cars on the road that shouldn't legally pass. so i shouldn't have a problem working something out.
