What kind of sbwoofer box is better to make the sound clear and deep? A single vented sub box, or an enclosed one?

thats actually a tough one, ideally you want a sealed box with that strong of a subwoofer, its going to hit hard so a sealed box will give you much better sound, but 2000 watt subs easily have the potential to blow the walls out of the box, so just make sure you get a well constructed, sealed box, unless you're going strictly for LOUD THUMP and SHAKING then go for ported

so then I would probably want a sealed box because I want the nice and smooth sounding bass but ported boxes are definately louder?

why do you want a sub that big for a car this small?
you could easily achieve i nice thumb and hit with a smaller and LIGHTER 12" even a 10"

A sealed box will be more accurate. Ported boxes are typically more efficient around specific frequencies.

If you want deep and accurate bass, you'll want to go with a sealed box and give the sub the recommended airspace, which I didn't see in the specs on your linked website. If you go smaller, you'll get a steeper rolloff of your low frequencies and a loss of efficiency over a larger box.

I didn't see any tuniing frequencies on the ported box that you linked. Prefabbed boxes like that are often tuned for the "boom" factor. You would need to find out if the tuning for that box will give you for what you seek.

Beyond that, I agree with playr158, unless you have a specific reason why you are looking at a 15, you could get (one or) a couple of good (better) 10's or 12's for a comprable price that would either sound good or give you some boom depending on how you implemented them.

guys are right... 15's are too big... I just installed 12's and it's banging hard... car is too small to put anything over 12's

P.S.
when U gonna buy a box... check specifications o speakers, how many cubic feet per chamber smile.gif that's a main thing in buying a box smile.gif
