I have the lip kit and my car is lowered. If you are thinking about lowering it be prepared to scrape. Its a bitch driving around and Im starting to get pissed off because I cant drive everywhere with it. My girlfriend doesnt want to drive my car around either cuz she is scared to scrape.

you will scrape just about everywhere you go

thanks, just incase you didn't already know, the lowest part of the lip is about 51/2 inches off of the ground.

the only time I really scraped bad was when a mechanic ran it into a curb, he flat out broke it in half, and when I tried to sue them for damages they won the case.

so I had to re-fiberglass the front

the places that see the most damage are on the front, to the inside of the two vents.

I still need to put some kind of grill back there, I've got some black guttergaurd that would fit nicely(I Know its ghetto)

also, you may have noticed she's missing all 5 of her front teeth from a previous accident, but I'm not going to repare that. biggrin.gif

IMO it looks better with the skirts, but hes got a pre-facelift celi, so we cut him some slack.
that is total BS dude, the mechanic was driving your car and cracked your bumper on a curb and you had to pay for it? that is shady as hell!! if it was me, there would have been no case, i would've said, you broke it, you fix it asshole! you shoulda appealed! damn legal system, no justice in this world!
Nate, are you getting it molded? cuz just to paint sideskirts and a lip, 750 is a bit steep. unless you have some crazy paintjob already, and this paint needs to integrate into it. but to get it painted a stock color, your looking at prolly less than one of those small cans of paint, so the paint cost is fairly low, maybe it would be two cans at the most. i would look for a second opinion. cuz that sounds like you are getting closer to repainting the whole car. if 2k will get you a great re-paintjob. 750 is a bit steep to do just a lip and sideskirts. maybe im wrong, but that sounds a bit high to me.

I went to get mine painted at a reputable bodyshop in town, since he had just done some major bodywork on my car I think he cut me some slack on the price. $120. but thats not to install it. install was easy.

I first glued some weather stripping to the inside of the lip and then installed it with four rivets, one in each wheel well and 2 in front.

I'm trying to find a nice set of sideskirts, but I want to be a little more original than the vis zepher skirts rolleyes.gif

not that the vis zepher skirts aren't good looking, I just want something different.
