Well hello there, this will be my first post. Gotta say, I love this car but removing and installing the bumpers are such a pain. It would seem I need a little help with the removal of the rear bumper. I've taken all the accessible screws and clips out but how do you take the metal piece holding the bumper to the car out? Not exactly sure if I just had to pry them off with a flat screwdriver or something.. but I didn't want to break anything until I know for sure. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

nooo, do not pry off, first you must get the tails and license plate frame off and get the bolts under that, and then the bolts underneath the bumper, but i think you are talking about the sides of the bumper, for those, you must take out the plastics from the hatch (at least partially)(you can get to one side from the jack compartment) and there will be i believe 2 or 3 bolts you must take off from each side. after that the bumper will come right off. good luck, you putting on a kit?
wrong section btw

first take teh tails off.......there should be bolts under where the tails are....

then uncover the plastics on the trunk/hatch area...tehre should be three 10mm bolts on each side holding the bumper.....

start from teh driver side n unscrew all teh bolts...tehres one bolt WAY underneath behind the wheels......tehn from here take off all teh bolts holding the bumper to the rear crash bar.....
