I found this video on youtube..
Personally, i kinda like it, but i don't know if it sounds "to rice" I'm just wondering because if i do get an exhaust, i don't want an exhaust that doesn't sound good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8mxdjwRkJo -------------------- "Guard Your Honor, Let Your Reputation Fall Where It Will..."

lol that's my sound clip. Anyways, i'm changing the Megan Racing N1 rear muffler with either a magnaflow street series muffler that everyone else on the forum has or the Megan Racing GT series muffler. After hearing the other guy's exhausts, I really like the deeper tone over the one I currently have.

The engine was warmed up and yeah, the valvetrain noise is common with 20v. I don't know why though because my valve clearance still meets specs and the noise doesn't have any issues with the way the engine performs. I've also heard that it could be the VVT cam pulley, but it's a minor thing and won't hurt the engine so i'm not worried about it. And yeah, go for a SP2 style muffler or a Magnaflow. N1 style muffler's on celica's don't sound right, trust me.

Yeah, I believe the Street and Race Series Magnaflow will do well for the deeper tone that your probably after (It uses a big oval canister). As far as the Megan Racing GT muffler, it sort of resembles an N1 muffler but angles at the end towards the exhaust tip, making for a less restrictive exhaust flow. -------------------- ![]() |

From comparison, the megan racing and apexi n1 mufflers sound the same. The design is practically the same, but I think the tip diameter is the difference.
