So, i bought my self a Apexi AFC Neo today, and am plannin on wiring it up on tuesday when i have class. Has any one wired one of these up to a 5s yet?? I know Steph got one wired up to her ST, but not 100$ sure about any one with a GT. i donno if its like the SACFII, but its got a 15 wire wiring harness, but it says for a non v-tec, non RB26DETT, and a non- karman sensor vehicle, only use 9 of the wires. So pretty much you only need these wires: IG power, IG power *again*, RPM, throttel, ground, ground, airflow/pressure sensor, airflow/pressure sensor and illumination *ie power*. Does any one have a pic of a 5S pinout that can highlight these wires for me? Thanks

Bryan

I whipped this up for you real quick, it's using the diagram for a '95 Auto, but it should be the same for you.

Just compare it against the instructions, the Toyota diagrams are in the back.

yeah, I've got one in my car. and yeah, it's the same for the 5s as the one in the book. only thing is, my car is a stick, but it still had a 22 pin connecter for the third one instead of the 12 like people are saying the manual tranny's have. maybe cause my car is cali spec?

I followed pressure2's how-to install a safcII and the wire colors are all the same.

The 5th gen Celica GT manual uses a 12-pin, all 6th gen GTs use a 22-pin. The ST manual uses a 12-pin, however.

anyone know what color the pressure wire is??

gray with black stripe

this worked for me but then again i was manual... if read the page below it say its "engine control module(engine and electronically controlled transmission (A/T), engine ecu (M/T))". does this mean they are the same? save and zoom in...

it puts the PIM pin out on the ecu as the small plug on pin 2 and the wire is gray with black strip

on the middle ecu plug, pin 2 from the right when looking at the plug connected to the ecu. should be gray with black stripe.

you can also look at the wires right on your map sensor, in the engine bay. you should have a brown wire ( ground ), gray with black stripe (signal for safc) and red (5v from the ecu).

Yes, the #2 wire coming from the Map sensor is blue, so the blue wire you had tapped into should be the correct wire. You can verify this with an ohm test using a multimeter. It should be what you need. Just get the right injectors in there and we can tackle it from there.
