I got my RCR 3-Point Rear strut from Defgeph. This bar is damn sturdy. The whole car would move if I pulled on the bar, showing no signs of flexing whatsoever.

PS sorry for the crappy camera.

Nice Wrapping.

In order for the center part of the bar to be held down, a longer bolt is needed.

The perfect bolt for this would be:

8mm-1.25 x 30mm bolt. (13mm head)

This keeps the bar VERY snug.

Then I trimmed back the carpet to make it look nice. smile.gif

Feels good. thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif

Thanks again Jeff!

I'm so happy you like it Andrew. Let me know if there is anything else you may need.

I have to get going on some of these other guys now. I wanted to see your results before I went ahead with the other members.

Congrats! and thanks again.

The bar is in roughly the same position at roughly the same height as a GT4 one - to me it looks like the strut top covers would fit biggrin.gif

You would have to trim the cover some. That bar is in the same position, but is twice as thick. So some dremel action is needed to remove some plastic out.

I have yet to fit my covers, maybe I'll do that. I'll make all the test holes so you guys can cut only once. smile.gif

Shame, the stock covers would take a bar twice as thick though surely because they usually have the padding over the stock bar ???

This is for the hatchback only. I could try to make a two point for the coupes, if there is enough interest.

Thanks Randy !
