Hello fellow 6g owners. I was wondering if the rear strut tower bars are the same for the coupe and the hatchback. Also, is there a difference between the GT and ST strut bars?

coupes don''t need a rear strut bar, there is no room for it, the rear configuration provides better support than a bar can gives to a hatchback

I see what you mean.
I saw a coupe with rear support bar shaped like an X in the trunk this weekend but I didnt get a real good look at it. It looked like it was between the two rear towers. It might have been welded in. |

The coupe is what the convertible is based off of right? So wouldn't a convertible benefit from a rear strut tower bar? I mean my vert flexes more than I would like. I am sure other convertible owners would like to tighten up there cars as much as possible. If anyone knows anything I would greatly appreciate it.

The problem with the vert is that there is not even space. If you put a bar. I dont think you can ever put the top down.
