there probably is a tool. i just used two flathead screwdrivers. stuck them in opposite slots and twisted it like that. be extra careful if you do this though, dont let them slip out and scratch your paint. also, the 7g base and s2000 antenna did not bolt in directly for me. i had to mess with it a bit to get in to work but its worth it, good luck!

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

Dang, this mast nut will NOT move kindasad.gif . I already ordered a new nut and ornament, any drastic measures to take this thing out without scratching/denting my rear quarter panel?

Just use a pair of plyers. Should move with a bit of force. If your afraid to hit the paint use a towl or something to put around the antenna.

I was rusted in there good, finally just cut the ornament with an utility knife and let the antenna drop through LOL. Oh well, apparently I would have had to cut the ornament to fit the s2000 anyway smile.gif. Ill post some pics when my camera charger finally gets here and I replace the ornament with a new one. And for the first time in almost a year, I have radio presets again haha
