I recently got a letter in the mail about this corporation called Vector Marketing. It advertised a job opportunity for recent grads. I followed through and went in for an interview and before the day was done, I apparently had a new job selling kitchen knives. I went home and did some reading, yet I am still not sure what to make of it. I was hoping someone in these forums could tell me something they might have heard or read about Vector and its honesty/dishonesty or whatnot.

cutco knives are the S***! yeah i went to apply for them as well then found out what it was. i have known several people who have done it. crappy job but you will never have to buy any kitchen knives again. Plus lifetime warranty. my mom has some of those knives from when my parents got married. so 25 yrs and still have a sharp edge.
buy the knives, don't sell them. smile.gif

Well apparently it is a waste of time and more than half actually lose money. If your GF goes in, ask her to really observe what is going on. First, I more than guarantee the office that she goes to is a ****ty one. Second, most are jobless desperate people that are there. Third, it feels like they are just doing a sales pitch to you.

Wierd.

I don;t think im going back.

They pay you for appointments though, so technically it'd be pretty easy to scam them...

heres what you do. yo work for a bit, showcase the knives to family and friends for a bit. get paid good. use your discount to buy a lot of the knives, then sell them online for profit =)~
