Can anyone please tell me if a GT-Four rear strut brace will fit on an ST (coupe)? Any help, advice, or pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

i highly doubt it, i had my girl friends coupe appart the other day and just by the shape of the bar..im gonna say 99% no.

edit: also, theres no real point, the metal that goes across is stronger than the strut bar would be.

i dont think you need it to be any stiffer...where the rear shocks are located is right onto the frame work, theres not gonna b anything stronger than your frame. I think if you did want one, you would have to make it and weld it up your self. but i dont think you need to. My girl friends stock suspension on her ST coupe feels about as tight as mine with my modifcations on my hatch.

yeah the coupe rear is pretty solid as it is. If you really want to firm up the rear you can buy a rear sway bar from Suspension Techniques.

Ive just got hold of a GT4 Rear Strut Brace for my UK GT and it fits, it also fits our UK ST models too, ie all the UK and Jap Gen 6's. A lot of folk on the celicaclubUK swear by this mod, so if it does fit your ST go for it mate! wink.gif

yea...alot of brits and people in the UK call hathbacks coupes because they have 2 doors..in north america we actually have coupes, so no hatch, just a solid glass window in the back and a trunk...kinda like a 2door saloon.
