FS... New Deal... you missed out on the first one! Options

OK as some of you know I had started to rebuild the Celica after I was hit by a drunk driver about a year ago. It wasn't bad just the fender, creased the front bumper,and the high beam were damaged. Nothing structural, so I decided it was time to finally do my gt4 conversion. "Some how" the corner of the hood got bent, and my lights got cracked too. Time for JDMs.

I was in the Marine corp at the time, so I worked on it my self taking it apart and the more I took off the more I wanted to bring it back to showroom condition so I gutted it. I planned on doing all new everything. Well then I got hurt and had to have surgery. A few months later and with not much recovery the military decides to discharge me with like 2 weeks notice. Yeah they can do that.

So this is June time frame and I have to move, my lease ended at my house and I didn't want to sign another year, since I was out of the military and heading back west as soon as possible. My girlfriend of a couple years is moving with me, but we have to wait until her lease is up in Oct. So I pack everything, put the Celi on a trailer and bring her north to Raleigh. With no garage to work in, and still recovering, I decide to do something custom and let a shop handle it. LS1 or 2jzgte wit a rear wheel drive conversion. I find a shop n Charlotte, but have to wait until they have an opening for a major job like this. Everything is going well. Then....

I have to leave and go out west to handle some personal family business. When I return my car is not where I had left it. The city had towed my car thinking it was abandoned! WTF! It took awhile to figure out what happened, and buy the time I did I have a huge storage bill. I don't want them to crush my car so I have to pay the fines. Now I don't have the time to see this project through. I would love to see someone finish what started or use the parts to let my Celica live on in yours.

I have tons of parts from gt4 conversion stuff to Jdm lights, as well as tons of misc. parts. Lot's of stuff still in the boxes. Right now I am looking for some one that wants the shell. Local pick up is a must I can not ship the car. I will and pics as soon as I can. I have to go to my storage unit to take pics of all the parts. The car/ shell is still in impound.

This would be a great project for someone .I wish it was me, but I have to move out west in a couple weeks and I don't have anyway to get the car there or a place to do the work once I get there.

Ok so your probably wondering what you would be getting right? You can see pics now in my build thread " one car ,one dream, one decade" The car is a 1994 Celica GT, 5 speed. It has about 200,000 miles on the chassis ( I loved driving it) about 60,000 after the motor was built. BUILT not rebuilt, there was nothing wrong with the engine. I had about 2 grand worth of top end work done to let the FE breathe. Intake, throttle body, and exhaust manifold where shot peened and port matched, head was given a valve angle job deburred, and decked. The bottom end was pulled apart and new seals and gaskets installed. The mechanic was amazed at he condition of the motor he said the crank and bearings showed no wear and even still had the stamp from the factory on them. I always babied my car, plus Toyotas are indestructible. I also had the mounts polyurethane filled when motor was reinstalled. It has custom side exit exhaust, no tip. ( I was waiting to fit the skirts) The tranny works, but needs work. I think synchros are going out, but I don't know trannys that well. It has a stage 3 clutch an a lightened factory flywheel. (I also have a trd short throw probably 200 miles on it, as well as the stock shifter in storage.) No intake on the car I have a couple in storage. It has upgraded brakes... brembo cross drilled with axxis carbon ceramic pads about 100 miles on them. The wheels are Ruff racing 18's hyper black with 225 40's ( I think ) again about 100 miles on these.
The wheels may not go with the car because I may use them for something else. We can discuss options.

There is no body panels on the car, that means fenders, hood, hatch, bumpers, doors, nothing. The interior is gutted. Pedals and A/C heater are still in there. The moon roof is out.

I have gt4 hood minus vents, gt4 bumpers minus grills. high beam jdms. JDM tails. driver fender, both doors. Driver side lights Factory, factory tails. all kinds of stuff. I would prefer to have local pick up on the big stuff.
Bring a truck and trailer and take it all with you.

Your like sounds great, how much?
I want to find some that can pick up the car and maybe the other parts too. So I'll hold all sales for a couple days while I wait for the golden buyer.


So if your looking or a project to put back together ( the car ran fine when disassembled, minus the stated transmission issue),a Gt to swap parts to your St, auto to manual, or if you wrecked you Gt hatch and you want to use my shell, please PM me and we can discuss options.

For the people looking for parts just tell what you are looking for, I probably have it. I'll take pics of everything requested when I go to my storage unit later this week.

Again, I am looking for someone who can come and trailer the car back first, taking the parts they want at the same time first. After the car is gone I will be selling all remaining parts.


I am very sad to have to let her go, but if she can help other Celicas live I can deal with that.

Pulling the tranny is not gonna happen sorry. If I had a place to work on it I would keep it.

I need the oil pressure sensor off the 5s and also it's clip, so if you just cut the wire and send like an inch or two of it's wire so I can solder it to mine, that would be good.

I am unable to pull anything off the car because I don't have a place to work on the car, if I did there would be no way I would be getting rid of it. Pics of the shell are in my build thread. basically shell, motor, tranny, wheels, brakes, suspension, steering (minus the stuff inside, and the body panels. I have the rest of the car... I pulled it apart to do a COMPLETE repaint, replace all worn parts.

Ok, I'm going to take some helpful advice (I hope).


I NEED to sell a 94 Celica GT.

It is a Shell with...

Motor... top end built, bottom end refreshed.
Tranny.... 5 speed, stage 3 clutch, lightened factory flywheel, needs some work but runs and shifts well.
Mounts.... replaced and polyurethane filled.
Exhaust... custom Dynomax side exit
Suspension... coilovers
Brakes... cross drilled and vented Brembo rotors, Refreshed and painted (red) calipers, Axxis carbon kevlar pads.
Wheels... 18 inch Ruff racing hyperblack, 225 40 Nankang tires, Less than 100 miles on set with no curb rash. These are the only thing on the car that I may have a use for so offers with and without are accepted.



Tons of other parts are available and am looking for some one to take the whole lot.

For example...
GT4 hood... new
Gt4 bumper... new
custom Erubuni 404 lip for gt4 bumper... new
TRD replica front and rear splitters... new
side skirts... new
JDM high Beams... new
JDM tails.... new
TRD short throw shifter... in car for less than a month
Suspension Technique springs... had them on the car for a couple years
So many other parts, I can't remember right now.

NO DELIVERY... you need to come to Raleigh North Carolina with a trailer and tow the car back.

Thanks, You are the first to realize this. Every time I read this or remember something I did to the car ( $2500 on paint refresh, garaged every day since) It kills me! I hate being put in this situation, If I didn't already have two cars and have to move 3000 miles away in a couple weeks, you would of never seen me sell my car. Ok, I am getting some interest from the west coast on this deal. If I have to bring the car out when I move in a few weeks it will add about $1000 to the total. That should cover my extra storage fees, trailer cost and the extra gas to pull the Celica 3000 miles to Vegas. From there it's up to you, unless you are somewhere in between here and there on the 40.

Oh yeah brand new black carpet never put in the car. I have the back seats but they need to be thrown away or seriously cleaned. Never planned on putting them back in. I have brand new Corbra style racing seats, no bracket yet I was think of maybe keeping these.

Time is running out for the East coast people, I'm heading to Vegas next week to find a place then I'll be back around the 20th to move on the 25th. If I can get a confirmed buyer out west (on the way to Vegas on the 40, or meet me in Vegas) then for a little more I'll bring it out there if I have to. I have to cover what it cost to get it out there... trailer, extra gas, ect.


I don't want to part it out with out letting the new owner have their pick of parts, but it's getting down to crunch time. I will not however give these parts away as most are brand new. If I can't get what they are worth on the east coast then I will bring them west. If the West coast people don't pay... I may just have to get another Celica, or put mine back together. That is unless someone jumps on this great opportunity.

The engine and tranny are in, the interior is gutted just like the pics. The car ran fine, minus the listed issue with the tranny. I drove it everyday, and did not feel that it was anywhere near giving out.

If I am going to bring it out to Vegas, I'm going to need to have to have a confirmed buyer. The way it looks right now I don't think I'm going to be able to bring it for myself, but if you really want it I'll need at least half up front ( just to cover the storage fees to get it back ) and then the rest when you come with your truck and trailer. I can send you the title after I receive the first half of payment.

I would REALLY prefer to sell this locally, because I don't really want to haul my car across the country and not be able to keep it. The way things have worked out, I don't think that there will be any way that I would be able to keep it myself.

That being said... Is there anyone locally that wants to come and pick it up this week? I had planned on leaving tomorrow, but I have to wait for my 4runner to get out of the shop first. So I'll be here until Friday, probably. If you are able to pick it up this week locally we can work out a deal.

I got the Celica out of jail today. Even stripped down she is so sexy. Well I think so at least. I have a lot that will store it for me for a much more reasonable price. So if you want the car, this the last chance. I'm leaving for Las Vegas on the 24th, maybe 25th. The car will be staying here since I have to take my two assembled vehicles out there. I can't post dyno #'s, but I'm pretty sure my car would walk on a stock 3sgte swapped Celica.
My Celica ( WHEN IT WAS PUT TOGETHER ) was faster than my 300zx I drive now, plus I would walk all kinds of cars when she was roaming the streets.

I've driven lots of turbo mr2's and raced them too... my Celica is right up there if not faster than that.

If you look at my build thread ( when I was keeping the car) I wasn't going to swap a 3s in, that would be a backward step. I was going LS1, maybe LS2. If your unfamiliar with these think about the Corvette and GTO.

Why would you want to throw a 3sgte in mine?
It already has a build 5s ready for turbo's
I can't post dyno #'s, but I'm pretty sure my car would walk on a stock 3sgte swapped Celica.
My Celica ( WHEN IT WAS PUT TOGETHER ) was faster than my 300zx I drive now, plus I would walk all kinds of cars when she was roaming the streets.

well actuly i was thinking about doing the 3s in my celica ..... and i wasnt to sure about doing the 5s build but either one or the other would be better then my car just sitting in my drive way right now i got a bent rod..... im actuly looking for a supra ...... but so far having no luck seeing as how picky i am ..... and yeah i know the all mighty LS1! i use to drive a white WS6 TA to tell you the truth the ls1 is more my bread and butter then a celica or supra but always wanted a supra the celica was actuly just going to be my dayly driver cause i recked my acura rsx and needed an car to get back and forth.....

lol Well you could say that depends on how you look at it ..... i really baby my cars i just have some weird luck with some of them did i tell you the ws6 was stollen right out from under me lol .....long story short the cop that took my report well he was parked in my parking spot when i walked out to get in my car .... either way good luck on the sale man pm me if you want to know more about that story dont want anyone getting mad that where having our own lil convo on your For Sale post ....
