gonna replace my TRD set up, I am looking for 1-2 inch drop with stiff springs. wanna get some opinions from people that have tried different brands. Let me know what you paid for them and how they performed... pros and cons.

no I am looking for just USDM spec springs. I have taken off the rearend because of alignment problems and weight, I am going to return to 2wd, hence the new springs. the 205 ones work for the stock rear but they sit kind of funny which makes me nervous.
BTW: neone interested in a 205 AWD tranny and rear transfer case? - will sell cheap -------------------- ![]() 99 project version 3.0.. hello SEMA 2010 =) |

Yeah... that's why I was asking... Cuz it doesn't make any sense why someone would convert from AWD to FWD... The only reason why someone would ask a question like this is if they weren't AWD to begin with... bah... |

I love my Eibach Sportlines. They're a 1.5" drop and they have an excellent ride quality to them.

Have you ever driven a car at 140+ that pulls to the right regardless of how you hold the wheel???? Probably not. It's kinda scary... that and I was chewing up tires and having to realign everything at least once a month - too much of a hassle for somthing that really didnt make too much of a difference for what my car is intended to do - POINT A TO B AS FAST AS IT FUKEN CAN as for having done.. ask stipt about my car - hes the only one on this board that has seen my car in person - he'll tell you about the HUGE cut in my trunk floor board where it had to be cut for the rear diff. BTW this topic was just to ask people about there experinces with different springs.. not to discuss what has and hasnt been done to my car. COOMER - thanks for your response -------------------- ![]() 99 project version 3.0.. hello SEMA 2010 =) |

Get Tein. They are made by one of the most well respected suspension companies there is. They must be good, and they're much cheaper than sportlines.

Do those springs work on cars without the Super Strut suspension? I've always been kinda confused as to what they fit. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

Have they made a set yet for the 6th gen with the cab controled hieght adjustment cuz that would be worth the $1600+ otherwise I have heard that just there springs aren't really all that great.. not bad but nothing special.
I would NEVER put coilovers on my car... way to much respect for my car to do somthing like that to it. But I have also heard good things about intrax springs This post has been edited by NEVERSTOP: Aug 8, 2003 - 12:28 PM -------------------- ![]() 99 project version 3.0.. hello SEMA 2010 =) |

What do you have against the Ground Control coilovers? I think maybe you're thinking that they're the same as all of those other cheap coilovers for the sixth generation Celica, but they're not. By the way, coilovers are by far the best way to go about modifying your suspension setup if you've got the money for them. You're telling me that you would never, ever put Tein/C-One/JIC-Magic coilovers on your car if someone handed them to you? -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

There's just no point to coilovers (especially the true and fully adjustable CO's) unless you plan on racing... doing lots of corners. Lowering springs and shocks are a perfect setup for just normal daily driving... and it's cheaper too... |

i've had mine for 2+ years w/ no problems...and my problem w/ springs for the celica is that they don't give me the stance i want...but then again, once the car is runnin, it will be autoX'd a few times. but i'd go for INTRAX if you must stick to springs. they give the best drop, and they ride like stock. -John- -------------------- |

What didn't you like about your TRD springs? I've had mine for about 7 months now, no problems at all. How long did you have them and what did you notice in the long run. If its bad then maybe I should change my set up too. I'm driving on TRD springs and stock shocks.
