I was just wondering if the rear caliper brackets, or if the entire rear caliper set up from a st184 5th gen celica GT/GTS, would bolt right up to my ST204c? One of the rear calipers on my car is not bolted on good becuase i had a friend that broke one of the bolts and it's stuck in there, and basically, it squeeks a lot, so i want to replace it, but there are rarely any ST204 Celicas in the junk yards, but plenty of ST184s.

So the ST184 and ST185 rear brakes are indenticle then? I took a look at it today, and my rear drivers side caliper is missing a bolt COMPLETELY. So it can just flip up whenever it wants. I was wondering what was scratching the inside of my rim, and now i know kindasad.gif .

I had the same thing on my rear driver's side caliper. It was missing the top caliper bolt and would clunk when I would brake. I pulled the other bolt and went to the hardware store and got the needed replacement bolt for $1.50. Problem solved.

Can't complain about working on the Yelli Celi. She is very clean underneath! thumbsup.gif

haha always with the Yelli Celi haha. Ok we know you own it, i'm jealous! hahaha.

My car is somewhat clean underneath, but i just had to cut my Endlinks off becuase ugh.. i hate allen keys and channel locks refused to get a good grip in the back...arg. But no worries, becuase i visit to TwosRus fixed that problem. (ok in a few days when they arrive). Haha anyways, thanks for the help guys. I'll have to source some new parts from the junkyard sometime. Becuase there's actually a piece of bolt stuck in my caliper keeping any other bolt from going into the hole to hold it in place. So when i drive sometimes....SQUEEEEK!!!. Yeah it's annoying and people think my car is falling apart.

Well I refer to the Yelli Celi to differentiate between my other Celica tongue.gif

Yeah let me know how the Twosrus endlinks are. I'm going to invest in either the Twosrus or Flying Miata endlinks and I can't decide.. kindasad.gif

They are different... or at lest the hubs are. Remember St185 has rear axles... ST205's however are different.
