I have been reading about this for the last hour, still no answers? My dad is a toyota mechanic
and installed 1.5 dropzone lowering springs on my car, they were making a noise in the rear, so he took them apart again, made sure everything was tight. He says its like the spring sits loose and you can move it even when its on the ground. any ideas? -------------------- Sorry, no animated sigs allowed.

My dad says hes done everything that he can think of, still loose. He says maybe new mounts and struts? What do you mean by the top nut to make sure the mount is tight, would that make a difference?

Well this is the nut being talked about.
![]() If the spring is able to be moved around while the car is sitting on the ground then to me the shock is bound up and wont collapse. Other than that, I cant imagine why you would be able to move a spring around. Well just in case. Wide springs go on the front, narrow ones go on the back. -------------------- |
