is it easy to drop a 4AGZE into an ST? or would a 3SGTE be easier? would a front clip help with how easy the swap is?

a 4a would be easier IMO due to the fact that i'm pretty sure its a bolt on, at least to the tranny of the 7afe. if you got a 3sgte you would need to install GT motor mounts and a few other brackets...
edit: i did not see the Z in 4agze lol... i dont know of anyone with that swap. just go with the 4age! This post has been edited by tonytutino: Sep 25, 2007 - 7:01 PM -------------------- **If you play My Brute, joing the 6gc.net clan!**

the 4agze, same as the 4age series except turbo.... this is a direct boldon and bolton to tranny.... powersteering and a few other things have to have fabricated mounts because they wont fit.

Its kind of a hard question... the 4AGZE swap isn't as well documented as the 3SGTE, so in that respect the 3S is the easier of the two, however the 4A will drop right into the ST's mounts and trans (although I don't suggest using the stock 7A transmission).
The 3S is well documented, more HP, and minor modification to fit to an ST (aside from the wiring harness) The 4A is not so well documented, less HP, and drops right in (aside from the wiring harness) Both harnesses can be shipped off to Dr. Tweak and will run you 300-400 dollars.. or you can attempt it yourself. A lot of people buy a 4AGZE, remove the supercharger, and opt for a nice turbo setup. You can get pretty good numbers out of this method as well. .... just throwing out some options... -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money
