Sorry for your loss frown.gif So what happened? Was it your fault? Are you going to look into getting another Celica? If you are I would say keep your stuff.

It might be fixable, but it also might cost more to fix than just replace. If it were me, I'd part it out and replace it. Unfortunately the parts are worth more than the whole.

i would say that's it's totalled and not worth fixin. i would find another and just move your parts over then part out the rest to cover some of your loss. you're not hurt at all are ya? all in all it's just a car. it coulda been a lot worse.
i hope it all works out for ya.

man, that sucks. Sorry to say it, but doesn't sound like she can be fixed too easily. Might be better to look into anoother one. I agree with 95CelicaST, if you plan on getting another, you should keep the aftermarket parts and use them on the next car. Hope you can get everything figured out.

You're looking at new:

fender
hood
front bumper
core support
headlights
windshield
steering wheel

In all reality it wouldn't cost as much as what you would need to fork out for a 300ZX. I would say start looking for body parts. Check local yards. If you can't find some stuff I have access to a guy parting a 95 baltic blue celica. He's got new steering wheel, fenders, hood, bumper cover, bumper support, core support and windshield... basically everything but the headlights.

frown.gif looks like a beautiful car. anyways, mine had almost the same damage, and i went with whole new body kit, new core support and all that stuff from the front frame, had it welded in place just to be safe. and im at like $2500 into it, so it doesnt look to be that bad. maybe you could cut your loses and do z3 fenders while you are at it, unless you want pure gt4 look?

You seem like you want to do a gt4 conversion.

Like you said, now is the best time. Instead of paying high $ for genuine oem toyota parts or low $ for knock offs, just get what you want. No need in spending extra money on something that you will want to change later!

From the pics, it definitely looks like it should be an easy fix. I should know, I've wrecked/totaled a few in my day.

Your car is still fixable but you only had liability (Like most of us) so if your going to get the GT4 conversion I hope you have money saved up because you'll be paying out of your pocket. Don't forget to add paint and stuff too. tongue.gif

I had the same damage (on the pass. side/ pics on my cardomain)

It happened a few years ago, but I think I spent a total of $2500 confused.gif

And in that price I had the car on the frame machine to straighten that same bit, used fender (which I lucked out it being the same white biggrin.gif ) and other parts were salvaged meaning that they bent supports back AFTER I already bought new ones (their price is included in the $2500) Instead of returning those supports and get my money back I figured I'd keep them for when I rebuild my car and use non-damaged bits.

Also in that price is my cf hood, jdm headlamps, ground control coilovers, new replacement shocks, my invader front bumper, and my clear turnsignals/ side markers.

I paided for all this on my own since I too only had liability kindasad.gif

I didn't have to get a new radiator at the time but a year or so later it cracked and cost me $150 from napa.

I've never had to get a new windshield (though I need to since I got a lond crack in it) and I've never priced the gt-4 bumper and hood but I'm sure they wouldn't be much more than my bumper and hood?

From the new pics this really looks like the same type of thing that happened to me (only on the other side) so this cost should give you a better idea.

Anything else I you need I'll try to help tongue.gif

Damage doesn't look to bad.. of course things are bent broken etc. but it is all fixable and what better way to learn than to do it yourself?

have you started any work yet? I personally would start by removing that fender, the busted head lights, battery, radiator, etc. to see if anything more difficult got pinched or broken.. like wires or an ac line etc.

Yeah, definietly start taking off broken pieces to get a better look at it.

Can you still drive it? Drive's straight still? I asked because when I wrecked mine I stripped the damaged pieces and drove it to shops to get estimates.

yeah its just cosmetic though some girl hit me with a 2005 civic and scratched all the paint and put a hole in the rear bumper but nothing bad i will end up just waiting on that more than likely until i get it drivable

i will end up fixing the radiator and pulling and bending all the supports back with the help of my dad who is quite knowledgeable on body work so im lucky i got him around.

oh yeah well just got back from shop and he got an estimate on parts for me

windshield $185
hood $265 but i can get oem carbon fiber for 300 so i think ill just pay the extra so i don't have to paint
left fender $206
radiator $198 but they are $150 from Napa I've heard
front bumper cover $198
rear bumper cover $148
comes out to be around $1200 or so not that bad.

Still need Driver side headlamps and Steering wheel and driver side hood hinge so i am open to that

thanks 6gc

left fender $206 - I would say go aftermarket fiberglass you will get both and get style
radiator $198 but they are $150 from Napa I've heard - may wanna go koyo race if you plan on ever going 3s, 4a or force induction
front bumper cover $198 - once again maybe try some style for the same price
rear bumper cover $148 - see above

just my advise
