i'm thinkin about puttin a turbo on my 5sfe...but it has 158k miles...

compression is rather high on all 4 cylinders...b/t 190-205 on them all

doesn't burn oil (spark plugs are clean as a whistle...) just a bad rear crank seal causing a leak

should i go for it? any things i really need to consider?

I just turboed mine with the same number of miles, 158K, and the only thing that went wrong that wasn't my own fault was the rear crank seal going out. so if you just replaced that then you should be good tongue.gif

oh, well, I'll just let you know now it's a bit*h.

if you're getting an aftermarket clutch (and you should be if you're doing a turbo) then do the seal at the same time.
