OK please i need help, i dont know what happened but,,,,,
i parked in front of my friends house, so i put the car in neutral, then i turned off, after 3 minutes, one of my friends parked next to me, so i turned the car back on while in neutral, and i started to rev it up, after that the car always stayed at 2000 revolutions, and if i stop, the car will go way to fast to 1000 then 1500,, then i turned it off and i tried to turn it back on, but i just wont, it will almost start, but no, i doesnt; what do i do, or did i messed up something????? How old is your clutch? Maybe a clutch problem?

Always check for air, fuel, and spark.

could be your throttle is sticking and flooding your engine with fuel, or something electrical or some sensor has malfunctioned. While it was running did your "check engine" light come on?
Try letting it sit for a little while and spray your throttle cable linkage with some WD 40 or some other light spray lubricant. Then try and start it again. -------------------- ![]() |

Look, this is what we found ![]() on the bottom of the steereng wheel, where the pedals are,, for some reason the accl (accelerator pedal), when i rev the car too fast, the red thing, which pulls the gas line, jumped to the back, when it had to be on the front of the blue thing. which is a small clip that the accl pedal has to so when you press the accl it will take more gas to the motor, well, we put it back in place but the accl and gas lines were still a little bit loose, why? i don't know, it was suppose to go back to normal, i tried to turn the car on, it did started, but i just was shaking too much, and the revs were at 200 or 350 max, i can drive the car like that but i just feels weird, -------------------- ![]() |

You may have a buildup of gunk in the throttle cable, causing the cable to be kinda sticky inside, which makes it hard for the spring on your throttle body to pull all of the slack out. You may want to disconnect the cable from the throttle body and try squirting liberal amounts of WD 40 on the cable, focus trying to get the WD 40 inside the cable housing or tube. Then try and work the cable back and forth to loosen up the gunk inside.
If its moving freely and there is still slack in the line then you may need to re-adjust your cable or double check the way it's routed around your gas pedal. You might have missed hooking it around something. Do you have a repair manual, like Chiltons or Hayes? One of those will help you to see how its supposed to be installed. -------------------- ![]() |

thats what i was thinking, im pretty sure i missed hooking it on something.
im gonna try to put wd 40 to see what happens, i'll post the results, righ now im at the college, 40 miles away from home, hope i can get home with any problems hahah -------------------- ![]() |
