he said it wasn't the actual product, it was just a sample. So I'm assuming it will say "6gc.net" or something similar.

when will these be on sale?

"Celicas of 2008"
"Produced by District Y Motorsports"

how much are these going to run again? do you have all the pics chosen then? are either of those pics in there? i wasn't aware that either were submitted. i love both of those pics. it's too bad if you can't get permission.

I like it, although the calander itself looks a lil plain jane. Are you planning on using any colors for each month? Or is it going to look all the same? Pictures look good that way though.

Sample pictures look amazing. I really like the look of the sample calendar - very classy. I don't think I'd want to see any more colour introduced unlike bccentaur3 suggests. They only thing I would suggest is using the steel-grey background on the calendar itself also.

I think it will be a missed opportunity if the 6gc.net management don't endorse the calendar. Constantly reminding the community that the calendar isn't endorsed is not a good way to build community relations - a member of the management team needs to take responsibility and actually drive this forward - or give a sensible rationale for why the calendar isn't going to be endorsed IMO.

Just a minor thing - please can we make sure that it either has holidays marked on for all the major countries represented on 6gc.net, or none of the holidays.

I can't tell you how annoying it is to get a calendar with holidays marked for some other country but not your own. You can get the UK and US info from Apple:

http://homepage.mac.com/ical/.calendars/US32Holidays.ics
http://homepage.mac.com/ical/.calendars/UK32Holidays.ics

And just about any other contry you care to think of from here:

WHAT? Where have you been dude? We have been voting on which pics should be on the calender. You wont be disappointed, all the cars that were being voted on are worthy for any automotive calender.

I think all of the voting threads are locked now. Just check out the general discussion place. Just type in Voting. There were three rounds we went through for the calender.

Yup, they all look good and subtle enough to just lift the design without being over the top.

well if yall like the subtleness, you could change the opacity of the toyota logo. and those pictures were just ideas, i wanted to spark interest in that type of design.

The intended final twelve can be found here:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v146/playr158/calendar/

I think January (the shot of lots of Celicas) should be the front cover of the calendar and this one should be January:

IPB Image

If we need one for the back cover, Id suggest this one:

IPB Image

or this one:

IPB Image

Now I'm hoping that playr158 has higher resolution images than those on photobucket as they are mainly 800x600 (and some are even smaller than that) which isn't going to look wonderful when professionally printed. Also the one he is proposing for the cover (and I'm proposing for January) isn't on his photobucket as an original.
