i've got the 94 gt (i think that's the st204). anyways, i've searched in the forums and the other websites and can't find any strut bars. Ones I found are all for the st202. Anyways, i'm interested in buying front tower strut braces ( not sure if I should get 3-point, sound better, lol), also i'm looking into buying rear braces or underbody braces. Can you guys fill me in on what I should buy. including if I should buy any braces for the rear or not. also, any websites where i can get it from, unless one of you guys selling some already. and how your experience has been with it so far...etc.

Thanks in advance

Jason

The chasis of the car is deff not a GT, maybe someone put a 5sfe engine into it then stick on the badge..

Here is how a GT backend would look like, with duckbill-spoiler and bodykit

Another pic here showing the different between the two, black one is the ST and the yellow is the GT, notice the taillights.

Umm... do you know what you're talking about? GT's came in both hatachback and coupe... as did ST's.

Anyway... strut bars are strut bars. If it'll fit the ST202... it'll fit the ST204. Anything suspension-related under the car might be different depending on the version of the ST202... but if it attaches to the body somewhere... they're all basically the same (with exception to the above mentioned coupe/hatch)...

I thought only the ST comes with 1.8L and its coupe. That explains everything.

yea..pretty much any front strut bar from any 94-99 celica will fit. As for rear, you really dont need one in a coupe because of the cross bracing behind the seats.

Thanks Valo & Kwanza. and Lubu... no, nobody changed the engines in my car, lol biggrin.gif. anyways, does anybody here have tower strut braces on their car and could recommend. also should I get 3-point bar? looks like our cars already got some sort of strut bar on it, just missing the piece across, seems like. should i just get a straight bar across then? if you guys could post a website on here, that would be great. thanks again. btw.. what do you guys think about the below posted underbody brace?

under brace would be cool, but kinda impractical unless your using your car as a track car, or unless you have a high enough ride hieght. As for recomendation, if you want a good 3point bar, go with j-speed. its super light, looks amazingly good and does a great job. Other then that, i would recomend TRD *if you can find it*, or a cusco one if you can find them too.
