so i bought another celica today for fairly cheap, but it is leaking coolant from one of the 3 ring type things that are on block.. what could cause that? and am i better of just "trashing" that engine?

theyre called freeze plugs, easy to replace if you know what you're doing but not a job for an amateur.

meh, well upon closer, much closer, look its actually leaking from the head gasket... which i've done on an Integra. so ill be doing that shortly smile.gif

a headgasket is more likely. both arent too bad to do. but then again ive done a few so far. just make sure you have a Chiltons or something like it when you are doing the work.

yea. i did it all one weekend.
every plug, and all the upper gaskets
then seafoamed the sht out of it.
learned SO much about this motor by doing that.
