Antenna on my celica has been shaved... Many ways of going about it. You can attempt to lay fiberglass over it, primer, sand, etc. or you can tac weld a piece of metal in it's place and grind the welds down.
Reception is so-so. I don't listen to the radio much anyways (iPod FTW) so it doesn't bother me. -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money

i shaved mine, fiberglass and bondo.
having a metal plate welded in is the correct way to do it though. after its done, its advisable to get a hidden antenna such as http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts.aspx?par...p;categoryid=25 |
