I believe there's an 5th gen All Trac who swapped a 3.x Liter engine in it. Dont know if it was a 3mzfe or 1mzfe.

it was a 3vz. he used the st185 tranny with the 2004 RAV4 transfer case.. had to grind and cut to get it on though

the stock transfer case would protrude into the block by about 10mm. too much to grind away from either one.

Not a stock AT tranny.

CelicaTech > Fabrication & Aesthetics > Custom Engineering/Design/Fabrication V6 Alltrac writeup.
http://www.celicatech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20037

All the info is there. Successfully done in the UK.
One other project is ongoing in the US.

There is a FWD 5th gen Celica in CA that is up and running...
(1 or 2 fwd 6th gen v6 ? )

Auto tranny and V6 awd out a Sienna, Highlander ?

Regards;

Thanks GMan for the link. It has some very useful information on it. Does any one know the easyer way to make a 6gc awd so I could attempt a v6 awd celi. The only why I can think of is to make a costum brakit to hold all of the components. thanks smile.gif
