ok the first gen Ran4 coms with a 3sfe engine just wanted to know if anyone has thought about this swap.. and yea yea i know its and FE head but but still 3s .. so anyone thinking about doing this cause i know the is sh.. load of them around me and i have seen a few in the junk yards around me..

It has less power then the 5sfe. It would be pointless to swap it in.

well, maybe you could swap on the 3s-ge head. you can swap the ge head onto a 5s-fe block, but with the 5s-fe you have to have part of the block machined to line up with a water jet(does this make sense to you guys?)

maybe with the 3s-fe you do not have to have the block machined to swap the head.

the late 80's camry also has the 3s-fe

that was what i was thinking.... get a 3sfe and get the ge head... everthing should line up

I guess that would work, but how much are you finding the 3s-fe clips for?

cause sometimes I see the ge head go on e-bay, but its still like around 400 bucks

i don't know how much they are but there are so damn many around here.. i seen a more then a few at the junkyards..
