does anybody know what happened to the guy that was doing it?
i haven't been here fore a while so i've kinda been out of the loop but he was the guy with the orange celi with the lambo doors, erebuni kit... last i heard, he was in the process of doing something "different" with his car and he show a little preview of the headlights and the cuts that have been made to fit them --------------------  this is what happens when your little brother is better at photoshop than you are |

I disagree... it still have the chasis of a celica, doesn't it? The mods that you do to your car is upon your preferences, imagination and creativity. So whether it still looks like a celica or not if it still has the same chasis, it still is a Celica. Kinda like saying that a Celica with a Curren headlight and tail light convertion is not a celica anymore but actually a Curren.

people in porsche's can laugh all they want, they bought their car the way it is and almost all of them pay somebody else to do the mods on their car. this kind of stuff takes a lot of hard work to do! props on that. I don't think it looks all that bad either.

congrats on the work done, if ya dont have anything nice to say dont say it... his car puts most on here to shame
im assuming that he's a busy guy with better things to do, which is why he's not on here, but i would love to see what projects he's done/worked on since then. i put different wheels on my car... and a custom non factory offered rear trunk lip... so does that make it not a celica? -------------------- you know why they put sheep at the edge of a cliff.... that way they push back!

Props on the work. It must've costed a pretty penny and some major elbow-work. Although the heads are growing on me, not too fond of the tails; I like my JDMs! The color is hot!

IMO .. I don't like the way the porsche lights look on the Celica. To be honest when I clicked this link I was thinking it would be only the big circular part of the lights. I was hopin to see something like RE's RX7 with Porsche Headlights.

Maybe it's my love for Porsches, and maybe it's my love for Celicas, maybe it's because of both, but whatever the reason, that is one of the hottest cars I've seen. With the work that went into it the conversion is seamless. Love it, great job Soundslut.

i like the conversion, it looks very professional and fits surprisingly well
 although i must say a new set of wheels to fill those flared arches would go a long way
