i've had my car for just over a year and i added it all up the other day and i've put $1600+ on top of the normal maintenance and car payments into it yet i don't really have all that much to show. i have all sorts of plans but plans haven't gotten me anywhere.
now once you have a turboed car then i think you can say your car is lucky.

ive ALWAYS loved the sw20. my buddy here in hawaii has a white wide body. he's deciding on putting the side mirrors on the fenders for a vintage/F1 style. he's the only white wide body on the island.

This is my baby; my pride and joy; the single main thing that got me into cars.

This pic was taken by the previous owner whom I bought the car from.


I threw a bra on her and drove her like that for a whole year because I'm a dumbass.


Then I got hit by the mod bug.. and she started changing...

Sporting new wheels & tires on stock springs.


Testing out custom made blocks by doggy.


I molded the blocks & spoiler together and primered it.



Fixed a few dents.. I rattle canned some black primer on the car so I could spot uneven surfaces. Ghetto, I know.


This is how she sits now. I think she looks a bit ricey but that's okay. I'll return her to stock, someday.
She has not been driven for over a year now.. I have other cars that need my attention more, yet I don't have the heart to sell her.

dang... heres a bit or history, got the car, torn seats, broken antenna, had low miles on it



then got some seatcovers, put the headunit & subs from my truck into it









then got a screen



then 3 years from the day i got it tint, leather seats, loud system, suspension, projectors (make it look new) and ALOT of miles later

Intake & Greddy exhaust system... that's pretty much it. I don't plan to spend anymore money on this car because I have other priorities. If I do spend money on it, it'll be towards a swap.
I'm gonna paint the valve cover this summer though. We have some extra car paint in the garage that I'm going to use-- gloss black with tiny red metallic flakes covered with lots of clear. The valve cover will be baked as well as wetsanded & buffed too. It's gonna look gangsta, LoL. ...and yes, car paint will hold up just fine. I've tried this on my beater civic already. Anyway, I'm glad you like my baby, .

had cancer. that's why I replaced the hatch. other than that it's rust free. I had a patch in the engine bay too but I just sanded it down and primered and painted it about 2 weeks ago. now cancer free! but still has paint cancer. I'm actually researching the cost to repaint the hood, roof, fenders, and hatch with paint using the factory color code right now. it's looking pretty expensive though. about $90 for a pint of basecoat. I want to repaint the whole car soon, so maybe I'll just wait.

This is about 6 months after i first got it maybe 3 weeks after the engine build was done..(9-27-06)


Then my front end was bumped into and it sat for a looooooooong time(i got back into driving the FC) looking like this...(11/06-3/07)


After a while i got off my arse and put the car back together in a weekend(spring break 07)


A few months later I fell so in love with my celica that I traded my FC for a paintjob!!!(summer 07)

Yup, it was a big change, and also alot of money too All and all though i'm satisfied with the results. I first started the celica project in March 2006 and painted the car silver in August 2006. The extension and sideskirts went on in January 2007 and since remained the same till now. The paint job isn't 100% so the flaws will be fixed in a few months hopefully. And with the toyscious meet, yeah I'll keep it in mind cause I want to bring the celica up to Oahu and meet up with you and the other toyota groups.

Yeah I've seen his car driving around on several occasions but never met him in person. He said he'll let me know about a meet or something. BTW, there are also 6 more 6gc's on Maui that still needs to be involved in the 6gc.net forums. Oh, and yeah I met Brandon aka JapanBoi back in the 2007 Toyscious meet and his replica is sweet.
