Houston Celicas, One more before the Tx meet? Options

I propose we hit Hooter's 290 on a Sat night for some wings and maybe a chill session in my garage afterwards [2mins away]. This would be an opportunity for some of those who missed/couldn't stay for the last meet - to meet with everyone going to the TX meet.
Also I'm having one of those "INSANE!!!!!!" pricing sales on all 5S, 7A and 3S parts and components you may need to get your car up to speed for the meet. Panda and Ngofcukingway know - I got anything and everything you want/need for your 6gc at the garage and my baby needs parts badly - now's the time to lowball me [keep that to PM's or in person so as not to spam this thread]

Proposed time/date:

Date: March 1st
Time: 8PM till whenever
Place: Hooter's 290 [@ Hollister/Pinemont in front of Tinseltown]

This meet could be as small or as big as necessary - w/e.
Also I propose we use this as the meeting point for the caravan headed to Bastrop. 290 is the perfect way to take and we can utilize the garage [with Lift, compressor tools etc.] I have access to at the halfway point in Brenham in case anybody's car needs attn during the long drive to Bastrop [Mine may be a candidate if the Gremlins decide to act a fool along thwe way].

Meanwhile while things are draing I check everything else and clean the engine covers and check for VC leaks etc.

We'll see though but yeah I am like 80% sure I'm coming. My boy sean is an EMT and he might not get off in time to roll out. We'll see though. But its almost certain I'll show. Filter up [ONLY OEM in my shop - or TRD ] and add the oil [Mobile1 Fully Synthetic of course].

I run a Mobile 1 or Wix filter now after doing a bit of research. But can't run synthetic with how much oil I loose a week. Mechanic said that I could be having a leaky valve cover gasket (as a start). Conventional 5W-30 for me till I can get my problem fixed.

Keep yours long enough and I may trade with ya. The 3 post is perfect for everything except the GT4 and the prettiest of the 3 choices IMO. The GT4 spoiler really hasn't grown on me yet and the blindspots are rediculous - like driving a staion wagon

went head to head with the newer mustangs this morning on my way to work from a 45 roll. stayed pretty even with that bastard up to triple digit figures before the both of us left off to make our exits. Not sure if it was the V6 or the V8, but it was the one the big foglights in the center of the grill and not the itty bitty ones. I'm surprised T-Spoon was able to hold her in her current condition.

OK..... So... I am now about 90% sure I will show out. Nearing the end of the week we will see how it goes. ALSO about oil filters... Go with toyota or napa gold. A friend and I cut them all open and checked the filter patterns and the spring tensions. Surprisingly wix suck in comparison to stock toyotas and napa golds. So IMO Napa Gold, Toyota, or TRD is the way to go.

went head to head with the newer mustangs this morning on my way to work from a 45 roll. stayed pretty even with that bastard up to triple digit figures before the both of us left off to make our exits. Not sure if it was the V6 or the V8, but it was the one the big foglights in the center of the grill and not the itty bitty ones. I'm surprised T-Spoon was able to hold her in her current condition.
