so me and a friend are wondering can we take off the clutch housing and not drop the motor?

3 of the 4 engine mounts are bolted to the tranny, you will need to support the engine when the tranny is out.

I did see that so am I going to either jack the motor down or try to take the housing off and leave the motor untouched.but do you think I could just take the housing off to change the clutch?this is my first clutch im doing myself smile.gif happy ass hell

so just unbolt 3 of the 4 leave the passanger side alone while disconnecting the housing from the engine havin the engine supported can we lower the tranny without lowering the rest of the engine to change the clutch?

yes. You also need to remove the axles first.
