Get these scuffs and scratches out of tail lights? What works the best? My new JDM tail lights are cool, and even with the lights on, cannot see these scuffs. But at certain angles they are just standing out there. Nothing very deep. But enough to notice. Anyone ever refurbish the tail lights before? What works best?

PLEASE! I am capable of searching this stuff online, but everything seems like a damn infomercial. Respond, only with experience.

Thanks,

Faust

I find machine polishing works best. But, you can use Megs ScratchX or similar to get rid of some of the marking on the lenses.

There is plastic polish you can get to rid of the less obvious ones, there are mothers and 3m.

Someone also did mention Dot 3 brake fluid. Has anyone heard of this method?

dot brake fluid can be rough on plastics, i would not try it. try using some plastic polish from autozone, if to bad, consider getting new jdms...
