There is nothing wrong with red and white. I think it looks hot. Everybody goes with Black/Red, Black/Blue, or White/Blue. Red/White is teh sechs when done tastefully wink.gif.

So if i bought these rims, what would the offset be? I know that they have to be 5x100 but they have the offset available in +40 +45 +48 or +52. What would be the best?

I would get 225/45/17 tires. 215/45 on my 17x8 are streched and not always fun.

Out of those choices, +40 would be best.

exactly why would the +40 be the best choice?

Because +45 will have the wheel sit in even further than stock, +48 even more, and +52 even more than that. +40 will make the wheel sit out more flush with the fenders. An even lower offset would be desireable if possible, but since +40 is the lowest listed, I say that's your best choice.
