What is your FAVORITE child hood memory?

I was jumping on my bed when the beds had bookshelves on it back in the day and i smoked my head on it, the doctor at the hospital told me in these exact words "no more monkeys jumping on the bed!". I was told I could have anything I wanted for supper so I asked for 2 white freezies and a slurpee from 7/11.....

those were the days lol

Definately not my favorite memory, but I actually did something similar to that when I was a kid as well. Jumping on the bed and fell down. Wound up hitting my head on the edge of a wooden speaker I had, had a bald spot and stitches for a little while..lol

Probably my favorite would be taking our family RV (Roxy..yes, we named her) on vacations. The good old days when you didn't have to worry about anything...

Going on vacation with my family.

It's funny because I was just thinking about "the good old days" earlier today, when I didn't have to worry about anything except which fun activity my brother and I wanted to do first.

Maybe you're a masochist.

Mine would have to be when I was 5. Not many memories from that early but the one I have was on my 5th birthday and my whole family was there. They blindfolded me and led me into the backyard. Somehow, I don't know how, my dad had constructed a wooden swingset/playset/thing that was huge and did it without me knowing. I miss those days so much sometimes.

".......Sweet. Thanks."
"No problem."

mine was my mom's old 1983 Volvo 242...it was such a beater, but just b4 we got rid of it there was some weird noise that would come out of the air conditioning system...it sounded like a goose honkin...so we called the car goosie.

That and my best friend's dad's old Chevy caprice wagon. It was an 88 Caprice wagon that was built up *it was used on this show called K9 or somethin like that for a year* and he would always take it sideways around corners when we were coming home from kindergaurden and grade 1 while we were in the very back of it. We used to call it the boluga.

alot of my childhood memories have to deal with cars.

I'd say all the years I had with my little brother. We use to be really close, and always played together constantly - he was like a best friend. He was a pain in the ass at times it seemed like, but I look back on it now and realize he really wasn't. Those were really good times...

It makes me sad because so much has changed over the years (mainly because of my mother...) and now we hardly ever see each other anymore. Its almost like I dont even know him anymore.

Summer of '75, playing guitar with my cousin Eddie in Scoudouc on the front steps, watching traffic. When it got too hot we would hitchhike to Parlee Beach and hang out till dark. We always seemed to meet up with someone who would give us a lift back. We were 13 and life was simpler, people were friendlier and the world belonged to us. as a young kid; just being with my older brother listening to AM radio. on a good night we would catch stations from Boston, New York and even Philly. i would check the encyclopedia and learn all i could about these far-away places in the mighty USA. the USA of space exploration, the race to the moon, the builders of dams and cities in the desert.

Definitely have to be going fishing with my grandparents every summer. Also remember playing football almost every day when I was 10-14. No parents, no pads, just lining up and playing tackle football with my friends, then going home and getting yelled at because of the grass stains and blood. Good ol days

Honestly, I miss when the best system was the NES and Ninja Turtles were the $#!T. But my favorite childhood memory was when my dad would pick me up in his 76' corvette (mom and dad separated) and we would head to the biggest arcade in town. The routine was to play a few games, get a hotdog from the hotdog guy outside and talk to him for a little bit, play more games and go visit grandpa and grandma, then bump the sound system in the corvette again and go home. There were nice times going to the beach and disneyland as a family too. I wish my dad never got into drugs (Luckily God's mercy saved him and helped him get back on track) because that corvette would have been mine right now. @$$#073.
