I got stuck buying a 94 St with a very poorly installed 3s. The car has the c52 tranny in it and as you can amagine it didnt hold up. I have the motor putting out 306hp to the wheels. I know it is common to use a 5sp tranny from a v6 camry/ solora. I found one from a 01 solora at a local junkyard. Is that the tranny that is being used?

you have a 3s bolted to a c52? they dont bolt together so doubt it, you probably have the gt s54 tranny. yes you can use that tranny. you can also use the e153 from the mr2 turbo. has a shorter final drive i believe and also available with lsd.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

What car has a c52 tranny? never heard of it.
The GT tranny's are s54, and also if you're going to get the e153 tranny (mr2/solara/camry) which yes, available LSD in it, you're going to have to change out ur cables and shiftlinks, and make custom axles. (as so i'm told)

Yeah I have been looking at so many post I got my tranny codes mixed up. Sorry bout that. Does $750 sound reasonable for a 01 solora tranny with 74k miles? Ill still need the st205 rear mount and bracket correct?
