I know that any tranny in the "S" family of toyota engine can be fitted and are bolt on, but has anyone done there research on any other types of replaceable tranny(s) out there? and for our 5SFE or 3SGTE or 3SGE family...is our tranny a front transverse, inline, or transaxle longitudinal? I couldn't recover any of this from searching the forum...I want to learn more about the different aftermarket parts, so that once i do my swap, i can just replace everything to get pass the 400+ hp and not worry about the parts breaking down on me. I was looking into the tranny that i have kept looking at over a year now, which is the Getrag tranny, gearboxes, and compartment...If anyone can post up the link to tranny information about our 6gc, or have info to share about the tranny and compartments and gear box....i would greatly appreciate it...sorry to have made a thread on this if there were an older existing thread in regards to the tranny.

350nm no where near enough.
im putting out 500 nm at the wheels, so much more at the fly. (203 kw atw, so about 275 hp atw, so therefore more then 350 kw at the fly) -------------------- ST205 Group A Rallye GT-Four, #61 of 77............600hp GT3582r
