What's the difference between the front rotors for an ST and a GT? When I look online for rotors for my ST, I've noticed they're usually more expensive than for a GT. Is this because they're thicker or something because STs have rear drums? And once I do my rear disc conversion and have 4WDB, should I buy the front rotors for a GT, or stay with the ST parts? (I need new front brakes anyway, so I'll be doing it all at once.)

Griffgirl, if you need new front brakes I would recommend you do the 7th gen front brake swap. I believe there's a member selling a complete front kit atm.

If you're buyin', count me in!
Otherwise, I gotta stick to what I have, as my resources are rather limited. -------------------- ![]() |

when you swap to REAR GT disks...you use GT REAR parts & ST FRONT parts
ST front rotors + pads & GT rear rotors + pads This post has been edited by playr158: Mar 27, 2008 - 3:07 PM |

okay... so front stays the same. Just wondering, what's the difference in the front brakes though between GT & ST?

The GT has different calipers and rotors (larger) than the ST. -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl... I'm an artist!"

Oh, I see. Lame, cause GT rotors are cheaper than ST rotors! Thanks for the info though!
